This is a local mirror of eBay's own category tree — used to resolve category paths, check leaf status, and power the category suggestion/search shown when editing a listing (Channels → Listings → Edit → eBay Category section). It refreshes automatically every week; "Sync now" only re-imports (~16k categories) if eBay's tree version has actually changed since last time.
